In April 2022, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) issued a request for information on revising the Requirements of Participation for nursing homes to establish numerical minimum staffing standards.

Kansas Advocates for Better Care provided detailed information to CMS based on a survey sent out to and answered by our members.  We were able to relay how those providers are currently meeting the needs of its residents and how the industry could serve Kansans better.
